A Win-Win Partnership

The Money Tournament Classic was created by Chris Dorsey, a lifelong entrepreneur and founder of Richland Baseball, a 501(c)(3) organization in Columbia, South Carolina.

Richland Baseball provides FREE competitive baseball opportunities to nearly 100 young athletes annually, many from the inner city of Columbia. Chris created The Money Tournament Classic as a creative way to bring travel organizations and community baseball together — building a bridge instead of competing for the same players.

Rather than competing against travel baseball, we partner with it. Travel organizations compete for cash to support their own programs while strengthening the baseball community as a whole. It's a win-win: travel teams win meaningful prizes, and the spirit of the game reaches more young athletes.

Our mission is simple: help more kids play baseball regardless of their financial situation while giving travel organizations the opportunity to compete against great competition for cash instead of another ring.
